‘Hawarden’ is a 0-4-0 saddle tank engine built in 1899 by Hudswell-Clarke in Leeds. After 64 years working at the Globe Ironworks in Stalybridge it was donated to the National Trust in 1964. It was put on display in the Penrhyn Castle Railway Museum where it remained until 2024 when it was donated to the Bahamas Locomotive Society of Ingrow West. The society placed the locomotive on loan to the Middleton Railway Trust where it arrived following removal from Penrhyn.
