October brings our Autumn Gala.

With four (yes.. FOUR) Steam or Diesel locomotives scheduled to be rostered,  there will be something to get all enthusiasts excited.

The Sentinel engine is set to be one of the stars of the show, having not been properly in traffic this year, along with Hunslet engine, ‘John Alcock’

Sir Berkeley, and Austin’s No 1 are also available for service and will be used at some point during the day (subject to the usual caveats of old locos!)

Passenger services will be leaving Moor Road Station for Park Halt at our usual running times of 1030, 1110, 1150, 1230, 1330, 1410, 1450 and 1530.

The provisional consist for the journeys is as below:

We also intend to do something a little different at 0930 and 1630, by running a goods service with a brake van. Fancy a ride on this? Then take the rare opportunity to jump on board!
For a small supplement we are offering 10 places per journey for a return journey in the brake van to Park Halt and back.
These tickets are on a first come, first served basis, and are not available to purchase online.

Get your cameras out – this will be good!
