Today is Community Day, where we welcome various groups and organisations from the Leeds area, to share what they are up to, and how we can all help each other.

So far we will have representatives from the Hunslet Fire Station, our local Police force, local councillors Wayne Dixon, Paul Wray and Ed Carlisle, Belle Isle Local History Group, Leeds Transport Historical Society, Middleton Life History Group, Friends of Middleton Park, Hunslet Club, Hunslet Resident’s Association, Slung Low Theatre Co, MHA Communities South Leeds, South Leeds Life, Andy Cahill of the Neville Street Mural, The Hunslet Rainbow/Brownie Unit, and of course, us – the Middleton Railway. Our passenger services start will leave Moor Road station at 1030, 1110, 1150, 1230, 1330, 1410, 1450 and 1530

As part of our contribution to Community Day, you are welcome to ride with us for free (although a donation towards our costs would be very much appreciated!)
