Protecting our volunteers and visitors ...

  • we have fewer staff available than usual
  • so we can not run trains on as many days as usual

  • our calendar of services is having to be flexible
  • our expected train services are below
    • but these may change
    • please keep checking this page

Calendar of Planned Train Services for May and June

Date Train Service
Sunday 23rd May Steam Trains
Sunday 30th May Steam Trains
Monday 31st May Steam Trains
Wednesday 2nd June Diesel Trains
Sunday 6th June Steam Trains
Sunday 13th June Steam Trains
Sunday 20th June Steam Trains
Sunday 27th June Steam Trains

Note: the above dates are all dependent on the government being able to keep to the "roadmap" for easing the current lockdown, which we hope that they will - but we have no guarantees as to what may happen!

For this reason, we will only be advertising train services for about a month at a time, until there is more certainty about whether they will be able to run.

    • if there is a rush then it will be first come first served

    • you are welcome to make additional journeys,
    • provided that we have capacity,
    • new passengers will take priority over those wanting additional journeys
  • we will keep space for passengers to return from Park Halt
