Wardle 0-6-0ST No. 1601 "Matthew Murray" took part in the Tanfield
Railway Gala during Sunday 27 and Monday 28 August. The following
pictures, which were all taken by Martin Plumb on the Sunday, show the
locomotive being prepared, disposed and working alongside Andrew
Barclay 0-4-0ST No. 22 (2274 of 1949) which was visiting from the Bowes
Railway.
