This 0-4-0ST was built by Hudswell Clarke in 1917 and given the works number 1309. For many years this loco worked for the large internal rail system at the nearby Kirkstall Forge.

As can be seen from the image a group of Wednesday workers are well on with the preparatory under coat.

Henry de Lacy II being painted The base coat of the final colour has been applied to quite a large proportion of the loco. It no longer looks like a track repair vehicle!

A shunt has taken place and the loco is expected into the shed early May 2006.

Henry has been moved into the Engine House and is on display resplendent in it's deep rich maroon paint sceme.
